USM MQE exam for medical student from un-schedule university....

medical  qualifying exam (MQE) exam ni untuk student yang study medic kat oversea dari unrecognised universities..  mereka ni kena ambil special exam kat malaysia pula supaya boleh practise kat Malaysia pula..

sebelum ni USM,UM,UKM je yang boleh wat exam ni. tapi sekarang ni da ada 16 university .

kalau korang nak tau senarai univerity yg recognise/unrecognised di Malaysia ni boleh klik SINI..

MQE exam ni berbeza mengikut setiap tempat yang diorang ambil exam ni..

aku nak cerita yang USM style je..

 jangan terkejut dehss... RM 21 000..antara yang termurah tau.. ada universiti lain sampai 60 ribu.. tapi katanya tahun depan naik lagi jadi 30 ribu...( aku rasa terlalu mahal la dan tidak adil untuk mereka)

bila aku tanya diorang dapat duit dari mana, diorang cakap usaha juga cari, ada yang pinjam dari saudara mara.. memang tiada scholarship..

academic schedule

duration sama dengan dengan kitorang yang remedial ni 6 bulan juga...

sebenarnya mereka yang ambil exam MQE ni akan ambil exam sekali dengan kitorang yang remedial ni..

schedule pun sama, cuma group lain lain..

ni schedule kitorang selama 6 bulan ni..

ussually people(medical people) akan underestimate mereka2 ini.. kataya very poor examination technic la,  macam macam lagi .. failure rate pun sangat high untuk mereka...
kita silap!! mereka ni sebenarnya ada yang sangat pandai dan hebat.. saya da berjumpa yang hebat..

p/s---- aku sangat tak setuju dengan yuran yang begitu mahal.. bagi aku tak patut...

Victim of MQE

I see that you’re also studying in an unrecognised university. Let me tell you something. I studied in a very good university too but it was not recognised because there wasn’t enough ppl of a certain color! Some of my classmates and I scored very well, but when we came back, we were made to look like fools during the MQE Elective attachments. Worse still, they failed everyone (regardless if you’re good or bad) and made us wait from November to January to hear the so called ‘FAILED’ results. No matter how good / hardworking you are, chances to pass this exam is extremely NIL, unless by luck you manage to get USM as your exam center.
From the months we’ve spent wasting our time here, this is what some of my friends and other unrecognised medical graduates I heard are doing :
1) They get an agent to help them redo their final 6th year semester in a recognised university, then they come back as so called recognised graduates and manage to work with the blessings of MMC!
2) If you have lots of money, change your exam centre to USM, get some influential politician…and ahem…u know what to do! You need stronger politicians and more $$$ for UM and UKM.
3) Do locum illegally in some God forsaken place. Pay is good what..RM35/hour!
4) Some illegally change from unrecognised universities to recognised universities via Agents (especially in Kursk, RSMU, MMA, Nizhny Novgorad, Volgograd, CSMU-Although it has been derecognised, USU and other university’s in Indonesia. Agents will do magic (with the agent’s fee you pay) and ask the university to release a brand new transcript for you indicating that you studied in the recognised university from Year 1 itself…and Voila you’re considered a recognised graduate when you come home….and these are the ppl that MMC is so happy to absorb into the housemanship system!!!!!
5) Stay at home like me (if you don’t agree to all those cheating methods as I’ve mentioned above), do some other legal work and wait for the day justice is met in this country!!! (maybe you have to wait till hari kiamat!)
Let me tell you that MQE IS NOT AN EXAM! IT’S JUST A GIMMICK BY MMC TO SHUT YOU OUT OF THE SYSTEM. THE PASSING RATE IS NEARLY 0%! DON’T BE SO CONFIDENT THAT MQE IS JUST LIKE ANOTHER FINAL SEMESTER PAPER. IT IS NOT!!!!!!! MARKING IS BASED ON MANY OTHER SUBJECTIVE BIAS PARAMETERS….AND CHANCES ARE, YOU WON’T QUALIFY! THINK CAREFULLY!!!
